Lost in the World Questions
The general idea of the video is that everyone is too focused on their phone and the technology to acknowledge other people. It follows a boy that is trying to "wake" them up and is unable to pull the people away from their phones/technology.
Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?
Yes, I believe that the video is effective in conveying it's message to the viewer of it. I believe with all its imagery and scenes, it conveys the idea very well to the viewers.
Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our social situation? Why?
I feel this is more of an examination of our social situation than a cautionary tale. I feel that way because we as a society are so very invested in our technology/phones that we interact more on the internet than in real life and that is very scary because you could lose yourself by putting all of your focus on your "internet life".
