Describing Photos

Broken Lake:
The photo was taken in a unknown place. The image is of a man in a canoe in a shattered lake. The man is standing on top of the canoe looking down at the "broken" pieces of the lake. In the picture you can see bushes or mangroves in the background as well as water marks from the canoe trailing behind the man. In the foreground position, there is the broken mirror pieces and the beginning of the lake. In the midground position, there is the man standing on the canoe with an oar in his hand. In the background position, there is mangroves/bushes and the clear blue sky. In this photos, the viewer is looking mostly at the lake shards and the mans reflection into the lake shards.

Punching in face:
The photo was taken in a unknown place. The image is of a man punching in his own face. The man is punching his face and it is caving in causing folds in his face. In the picture, you can see the folding in of his face. In the middle position of the photo, there is a man with his fist in his face causing it to fold into itself. In this photo, the viewer is focused on the man's face and the folds that are in it. I think the photographer used this image to show that sometimes you do something so dumb that you want punch yourself for being that dumb or something along those lines.

Fish Island:
This photo is taken at a unknown location. The image is of a island that is sitting on top of a fish that is under water. In this picture you can see a very large fish, a little farm on top of the fish, and two coast lines on either side of the fish. In the middle of the photo, you can see a fish with a farm on top of a rocky island surface. On the left side of the fish, there is a coastline that is shone below the surface of the water as well as above the surface. On the right side of the fish you can see the same thing as the left but there is also a small boat near the shore and the fish. In this photo, the viewer will be most focused on the very large fish in the center of the photo and its island like surface.

Iceman:
This photo is taken in an unknown location. The image shows a sad looking man pulling a sled of frozen fish in ice blocks while he is carrying a chainsaw. In this picture, you can see a man walking in a frozen landscape pulling a sled of frozen fish in ice blocks while carrying a chainsaw. In the foreground position, there is a man that looks sad or tired holding a chainsaw. Also in this position, there is a sled with three frozen fish blocks. In the background position, it is just a frozen landscape background with a sun setting or rising and dark clouds. In this photo, the viewers are most likely to be focused on the man pulling the sled than with anything else in the image.

Portal Doors:
This photo is taken in a unknown location. The image shows a man in a bathrobe walking from one open door to another open door with a coffee cup in his hand. In this picture, you can see a man walking a across a field from one open door to another open door. On the left side of the picture, there is a open door spilling out yellow light and a man in a dark blue bathrobe with slippers on walking towards the right side of the image. On the right side of the image, there is another open door that is spilling out yellow light and there is a small lamp on the ground near the door that is turned on. This scene is in the middle of a dark field with bright stars and dark clouds. In the photo, the viewers will be focused on the open doors and the man in between them. I think the photographer used this image to express that in the middle of the night or when you are very tired going from one room to another room can feeling like you are being transported to another place.

Giant Shoes:
This image is taken in an unknown location. The image shows two very large shoes and a man standing inside one of them, driving them across a field with a setting/rising sun. In the image, you can see two giant shoes being driven by a man holding the laces across a empty field. In the foreground, there is the giant shoes with the man driving them. In the midground, is the reflective shoe prints across the field. In the background, there is a very small forest and the setting/rising sun with a bit of dark clouds in the sky. For the viewer, I believe that they will be most likely focused on the shoes with the shoe prints across the field.

Road Cliff:
This image is taken at an unknown location. The image shows a a very sharp, deep cliff that a road follows and a man crouched on the edge looking down the cliff. In the image, you can see a cliff with a road and fence that follows the cliff. There is also a man looking down the edge and he has a bike behind him.  At the bottom of the picture, there is the dirt road with the shrubbery and the fence that is lining the road. In the middle of the picture, it has the same thing as the bottom but it is facing straight up towards the sky. At the top of the image, there is a forest with a winding dirt road with a man crouched on the edge of the cliff with his bike. In this image, I believe the viewers are most likely to be focused on the extreme cliff edge rather than any of the other elements of the pictures.
